Love "Blooms" Here, Celebrating Our New Moms!

Mother's Day is right around the corner. Our love for new moms can "blossom" right here, in our own parish community. Our "Respect Life Ministry" will celebrate new mothers this Spring in a very special way.

Here's how you can participate.

It's time to "flower" our new moms with gifts from the heart! We will be collecting items to share, to remind them that their vocation as a new mom is an important one that deserves recognition and support. We're grateful to all moms who helped all of us come into the world!

Our ministry is asking for new gifts to pamper our moms. Gift items should be around $20.00. Each gift should be wrapped at home (use a box, basket), brought to church, and placed in the pro-life bin in the narthex. You can add a card with your first name that could include a personal gift of a prayer or a Bible verse. Example: From Psalm 127:3 "Children are a gift from the Lord, the fruit of the womb, a reward".

The following list is a suggestion of gifts: Slippers, Lightweight Robe, Fuzzy Socks, Shampoo/Conditioner/Hair Items, Bath Bombs/Soaps/Body Wash/Body Lotion, Throw Afghan, Candle, etc.

Local stores include Bealls, Kohls, Wal-Mart, Bath & Body Works... Online shoppers like to use Amazon and Etsy.

All wrapped items need to be dropped off at our church by Thu, Apr 30.

If you're unable to shop, cash only donations can be dropped off at the church office by Wed, Apr 15, labeled for the "New Moms Collection".
